Hello all parents and families.
I hope you all have had a great week. The first few weeks of school have been busy so I apologize for the late posting. This year I am anticipating math to be a great year! I look forward to teaching all our your wonderful students. We have already begun our first module and at this point are half way through it. We took our first quiz the week of 9/16 and all in all it was not bad at all as a whole. For those of you came to the open house i discussed with you all the opportunity of using chrome books this year for all the students. We anticipated that they would be pushed out by the third week of school and we were right on target. Chrome books were entered into the classroom full time on 9.19 and we began using them as soon as we got them. All of the students now have a personal gmail account with the school and personal logins to use the computers. All students are able to access this information on any device that has internet access outside of school. The week of 9.23 we will be sending out an acceptable use policy that needs to be signed by you and your child. This is all a new experience for the students so delays are expected but we will be back on track in no time. We will be using schoology to submit all our assignments and complete work. There will be a letter coming home to further discuss the uses of the Chromebook. We will finish up module one this month and do a Module assessment. Upcoming^^^^^^^^^^^^
